Former NBA champion Tony Parker, known for his speed on the basketball court, decided to shift to a slower-paced life after retiring in 2019. He turned to Turkish shipyard AvA Yachts to build his first yacht, the 35-meter explorer named Infinity Nine. Growing up around the sea, Parker had a strong connection to water-related activities, including diving and sailing. The yacht’s design and exploration capabilities were vital to him, with a desire to cruise the polar regions and transatlantic travel in mind.

Infinity Nine was also designed with chartering in mind, featuring a unique cabin configuration with two owner’s suites. Parker values the importance of a dedicated crew in a successful charter operation and personally selected his captain and chief stewardess. The yacht offers various amenities, including a sundeck with a spa pool and a DJ station, as well as an extended swim platform. Tony Parker kept a low profile about his ownership of Infinity Nine, focusing on creating a child-friendly and calming interior. Additionally, he incorporated some adrenaline-enhancing features, such as a dive platform on the upper deck. Overall, Parker’s transition to yacht ownership has proven successful, as the yacht is fully booked for the summer, despite minimal promotion efforts.
