CÔTE D’AZUR

One of the busiest and longest established coastlines in the world of luxury yachting, the Côte d’Azur offers excellent berthing options in fantastic settings.

The Côte d’Azur has been attracting luxury yachts for decades, thanks to the unmistakeable allure of its varied and glamorous cruising grounds: From the excitement of St Tropez’s beaches and nightclubs to the picturesque islands off Cannes, and from the quaint streets of Antibes Old Town to the glittering casinos of Monaco. Although this is one of the busiest and longest established coastlines in the world for luxury yachting, a number of excellent berthing options are available to those looking for a new home port.

The Cap d’Ail Marina is positioned on the border between France and the western side of Monaco. It provides fast and easy access to Monaco, and is conveniently placed for those arriving into Monaco via the heliport, perhaps from Nice Côte d’Azur Airport. The marina is the ideal home port for vessels up to 65 metres, with a concession extending to the end of 2027. As well as the marina’s Club House, the popular Philippe Starck-designed A’Trego restaurant is located within the port.

Port Vauban in Antibes is undergoing a significant modernisation thanks to new ownership. The development plans include rebuilding the capitainerie (featuring a state-of-the-art yacht club, restaurants and wine bars), construction of new refit and maintenance facilities, and structural upgrades to the berths. Located close to the Cap d’Antibes, Nice and Cannes, Antibes is a major service hub for yachting in the Mediterranean, with many support companies located in the town. Port Vauban is able to accommodate superyachts up to 170m in length, with long term leases available for purchase.

The town of Golfe Juan is conveniently located between Cannes and Antibes, and its Port Camille Rayon offers berthing for yachts up to 75m in length with a draft of up to 5m. A range of yacht service providers are located in the marina or within a short drive. Whether you are considering a berth in which to place your yacht either year-round or for winter, Golfe Juan has some excellent slips for sale.
