Johnny Holgaard, a native of Denmark, began his professional life as a machinist and car mechanic running his own car repair shop. However, his thirst for adventure and travel led him to leave Denmark and explore the world. During his travels, he discovered the yachting industry and was immediately captivated by it. Eventually, he returned to Denmark and decided to pursue a career in marine engineering. Johnny became a chief engineer and obtained a class 2 commercial marine engineering certificate, which enabled him to work on various cargo ships, cruise ships, and yachts across the world.
During his lengthy career, Johnny recognized that there was a growing demand for skilled and knowledgeable yacht engineers. Motivated by this need, he decided to establish TYS, a business that places a strong emphasis on excellence, to meet the needs of yacht owners. With over two decades of experience and extensive knowledge in the yachting industry, Johnny is a valuable asset to the YACHTZOO sales team.
