AQUA NERA – A Journey Into The Wild
Inspired by the black-water beauty of the Amazon’s hidden lagoons, Aqua Nera sets a new benchmark in luxury river exploration. With just 20 spacious suites, award-winning design by Noor Design, and a focus on cultural and culinary detail, this is a river cruise like no other. Venturing deep into the Peruvian Amazon, Aqua Nera offers daily excursions led by expert naturalists, paired with locally inspired, farm-to-table cuisine that celebrates this remote part of the world.

Interior living – Inspired by Nature
Aqua Nera’s interiors blend clean, modern lines with dark wood tones and soft lighting, drawing from the black-water lagoons and lush forests of the Amazon. Wellness and comfort go hand in hand on board. There’s a fully equipped gym with floor-to-ceiling windows, and a peaceful spa with private treatment rooms. On the second deck, guests gather in a dining room that reflects Chef Pedro’s culinary approach: refined and full of local flavour. Other highlights include a large lounge and bar, library, and cinema room.

Accommodation – A Space to Unwind
The 20 suites on board Aqua Nera are spacious and beautifully designed, each with full-length windows and premium finishes. At 30 square metres, every suite offers a generous layout, with air-conditioning, soft bedding, and the option to accommodate up to three guests.
For more space or privacy, four sets of interconnecting suites can be combined into 60-square-metre residences — ideal for families or couples seeking extra comfort. Each set includes two en suites and the option to configure one suite as a private lounge.

Exterior living – A Front-Row Seat
Aqua Nera’s decks are designed to keep guests close to the sights and sounds of the Amazon. The top-level observation deck offers the best vantage point for wildlife spotting or simply watching the river unfold below. Shaded outdoor lounges at the bow and stern are perfect for enjoying a drink, reading a book, or taking in the ever-changing landscape.
At the front of the ship, a plunge pool with canopy cover offers a cool escape after jungle hikes or skiff rides. In the evenings, the open-air bar becomes a natural gathering point for sunset views, stargazing, or film screenings under the stars.

Explore – Experience the Amazon Up Close
Aqua Nera invites guests to discover the wonders of the Amazon through expertly guided daily excursions into the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve. Travelling in custom skiffs, guests can explore narrow tributaries, spot pink river dolphins, and encounter sloths, monkeys, and exotic birdlife in their natural habitat. Kayaking and swimming in the calm, tea-coloured waters offer a deeper connection to this extraordinary environment, while all-terrain bicycles allow for closer exploration of remote riverside communities.

With 44 crew and 40 guests, Aqua Nera delivers attentive, personalised service that anticipates every need. From expert naturalist guides who lead each expedition with specialist insight, to skilled chefs, spa therapists, and housekeeping staff, every member of the team is dedicated to creating an unforgettable experience on and off the water. At the heart of the experience is chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino, whose menus showcase the region’s bold flavours with 70% of ingredients sourced locally in a true farm-to-table approach.
